The foundation of the collections is the collection of Stanisław Kostka Potocki, which he left to the Polish people in 1805. The palace features a park of 89 hectares that includes a pond and the historic buildings with kitchen, guardhouse, horse stable, the gardener's house, and the Roman bridge.
