Schloss Adelsheim, located in Berchtesgaden, Bavaria, is a historic site that dates back to 1614. Since 1968, it has been home to the Museum Schloss Adelsheim. This museum showcases permanent and special exhibitions of historical objects related to Berchtesgaden on an exhibition area of up to 760 square meters.

Collections and Exhibitions at the Museum

The Museum Schloss Adelsheim offers a diverse range of exhibits. It features six main collections, including historical examples of Berchtesgadener War, bone carvings, and customs and costumes. Visitors can also see marionettes by Gabriel Gailler, wooden sculptures that are up to 500 years old, and the Rudolf Kriss collection. Reopening of Schloss Adelsheim

After undergoing roof renovation due to snow-related damages, Schloss Adelsheim reopened to visitors on June 16, 2022. This ensures that the castle is in good condition and safe for visitors to explore.
