Museum Schokland is housed in several buildings around a small historical church. The museum is dedicated to the history of the former island. The wooden buildings characterize the old Zuiderzee area. The collection is diverse and includes rocks and fossils that illustrate the history of the area. In addition, the museum has large glacial erratics that remind of the ice age.
