The Nationaal Vlechtmuseum is dedicated to one of the oldest crafts: braiding. The museum shows that various materials can be used to braid. With various materials It shows both contemporary and traditional braided objects, such as basketry, furniture, jewellery, utensils, applied art and packaging. It also shows the visitor similarities and differences between braids from the Netherlands and other countries.
