The National Aeronautics Museum (MNA) is an institution managed by the Argentine Air Force. Its primary mission is to preserve and showcase the historical aeronautical heritage of Argentina. This includes a wide range of aircraft used by the pioneers of Argentine aviation and the country's air units.
The National Aeronautics Museum is organized into various thematic rooms. These rooms display a wide range of items, including uniforms, documents, photographs, engines, and models of airplanes and helicopters that have served with the Argentine Air Force. This layout provides visitors with a comprehensive overview of Argentina's aeronautical history.
In 2001, the National Aeronautics Museum relocated to the refurbished facilities of the Morón aerodrome. This location had three unused hangars since the VII Air Brigade moved to its current location in the former VIII Air Brigade. The move allowed the museum to expand its exhibits and accommodate more visitors.
