Nordover is an art center located in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, within the upper Arctic Circle. It opened its doors in November 2022 and holds the distinction of being the world's northernmost art center. The center hosts temporary art exhibitions and events organized by the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum and is also home to the permanent Kåre Tveter Foundation Collection. The art center aims to provide high-quality art exhibitions and events for both Svalbard's local community and its visitors, with a focus on issues related to Svalbard and the polar regions. The museum shop offers works by artists and craftspeople from all across the polar regions, while the on-site café serves coffee and refreshments. In addition to its exhibition spaces, Nordover features a state-of-the-art 32-seat cinema.
