This former hotel, built in the Second Empire style around 1868, has a rich history tied to the founder of the town of Cary, Allison Francis Page. It served as a hotel for passengers from the Southern and Seaboard Air Line railroads from 1868 until 1916, and later as a boarding house and private residence until 1980.
