Located across the street from Ford's Theatre, this is the house into which Abraham Lincoln was carried after he was shot at. Despite the aid provided by the Petersen's family, the 16th President of the US died there on April 15, 1865, at 7:22 am. The house has been turned into a museum which you can tour, learn more details about the horrific event, and explore Lincoln's legacy.
