The Pickford Area Historical Society Museum, formerly known as the Lipsett Hardware Building, is situated at 175 Main Street in Pickford, Michigan. This historic building was recognized and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013, marking its significance in the region's history.
The Pickford Area Historical Society Museum, previously the Lipsett Hardware Store, is a two-story brick structure with a flat timber roof. It sits on a concrete foundation that measures 40 feet by 100 feet. The building's grade slopes downward towards the rear, allowing for a basement level entrance at the back.
The Pickford Area Historical Society acquired the building in 2001. Over the next few years, significant restoration work was undertaken, which included the installation of a replica cornice in 2011. The Society officially moved into the building in 2006.
