The Regional Archaeological Museum of the Scheldt Valley is located on an archaeological site. The museum shows what archaeology entails, what happens after excavation and displays the results of field research. It gives an overview of the history of occupation of the Scheldt Valley, from the Paleolithic through the Romans to the Merovingian era. A timber building from the 1st and a stone building from the 3rd century are visualized there.
