The Royal Museum of Mariemont is located in a 45-hectare park that includes monumental sculptures and the ruins of Charles of Lorraine's palace. The museum's collection consists of objects from a donation made to the Belgian state by industrialist Raoul Warcqué. The collection includes pieces from classical cultures, including Egypt, Greece and Rome, Asian art, archaeological finds from Hainaut and Tournai porcelain.
