The Shiga Museum of Art, previously known as the Museum of Modern Art, Shiga, was inaugurated in 1984. It is located in Ōtsu, a city in the Shiga Prefecture of Japan. The museum's name was changed in 2021 to reflect a broader scope of its collection.
As of 31 March 2024, the Shiga Museum of Art boasts a collection of approximately 2,589 works.
