From the Celtic age to present day, we tell the fascinating stories of South Wales’ officers through the decades. Explore the kit of a Victorian constable; discover the tough duties of Glamorgan officers in World War I, and uncover some of the weapons used against police. Our galleries contain a range of artefacts, including police equipment and uniform from years gone by, such as handcuffs, radios and the decorated dress uniforms of 19th century Chief Constables. There is also a Charge Room to book people into custody at our museum, as well as a cell for any law-breaking guests!
