St Ives Archives and its collection

We are an archive study centre that collects information on all aspects of St Ives and district history: includes art, fishing, folklore, industry, genealogy, maritime, mining, social history, wartime, buildings, writers, musicians etc.  We are an outpost of the Cornwall Family History Society. The archive holds a large collection of photographs of St Ives and the surrounding area.  Copies of many of these are available to purchase.  Local books on the history of the area are also on sale in the centre.
