Casa do Penedo, also known as the Stone House, is situated between Celorico de Basto and Fafe, specifically in the parish of Moreira do Rei, Municipality of Fafe, in the Northern Region of Portugal. This unique house is nestled among four large rocks that form part of the house's structure, giving it its name which translates to 'House of the Rock'.

Design and Construction of Casa do Penedo

Casa do Penedo is entirely constructed from rock, with the exception of the doors, windows, and roof. The interior of the house maintains a rustic style, with furniture, stairs, and railings made from logs. A notable feature is the sofa, designed in a rustic style, made of eucalyptus wood and weighing 350 kg. This unique design and construction have made it a point of interest for many tourists.
