Suikermuseum Tienen is housed on three floors of the former city halls of Tienen. The museum introduces the visitor to the world of sugar and sweets. The museum has a virtual guide, Professor Zucchero, who guides the visitor in the museum. The museum deals with various topics related to sugar: from the sugar beet cultivation to the processing into sugar products, the use of sugar in food and drinks, the impact on health and its use in art.
