Tate Liverpool is an art gallery and museum that is housed at the Grade I listed Albert Dock. It is part of Tate, the institution that houses the United Kingdom's national collection of British art from the year 1500 to the present day, and international modern and contemporary art. The Collection features the work of artists including L.S. Lowry, Cindy Sherman, Louise Bourgeois Mamelles and Glenn Ligon. Besides their permanent exhibitions, Tate Liverpool also organises a programme of temporary exhibitions.
