Opening and Exhibitions

The Taubman Museum of Art opened its doors to the public on November 8, 2008. It is home to the Fralin Center for American Art, which comprises ten galleries. These galleries host a variety of special exhibitions and showcase the museum's esteemed permanent collection.

Art Venture: Interactive Gallery Space

Adjacent to the atrium of the Taubman Museum of Art is Art Venture, a 2,436 square foot interactive gallery space. This area contains 13 discovery centers designed for children and families, offering a hands-on, educational experience.
