The Hugo-Junkers Museum is situated in the Klein-Kühnau district of Dessau-Roßlau. This location is easily accessible and offers a unique opportunity to explore the industrial achievements of the aircraft manufacturer Hugo Junkers.

Historical Setting of the Museum

The museum was established in 2001 on the grounds of the former Junkers Motorenbau und Flugzeugwerk factories. This historical setting adds to the authenticity of the museum and provides a glimpse into the past of aviation industry.

Main Attraction of the Museum

The museum's main attraction is a Junkers Ju 52 /3m, which was shot down in 1940 near Hartvikvann near Narvik, Norway. This aircraft was repaired in 1986 and exchanged in 1995 with a MiG-21PFM by the Dessau museum with the Norwegian authorities.
