Texel Heritage Museum Waelstee gives a comprehensive picture of life in the past on Texel. The museum features various authentic agricultural machines, sledges, and farm wagons and carriages that were used on Texel in the past. In addition, the museum displays several machines and objects for milk processing and cheese and butter production. The Texel farming life of a hundred years ago is depicted with special attention to the role of women in the dairy production and in the processing of flax and wool.
