Thackray Medical Museum is a museum in Leeds, formerly the Leeds Union Workhouse and Grade II listed. The museum galleries, café and gift shop are temporarily closed for a £4m refurbishment. Our plans include brand new and updated exhibitions and improved facilities. During this temporary closure we’ll be heading out on the road in our Emergency Museum, delivering fun activities at a festival near you. During this temporary closure, the museum conference centre and pay and display car park remain open as normal.
