Contained with the 14th Century house, the only remaining habitable part of Pontefract Castle, is an extensive collection of antiques including one of the finest collections of Castleford Pottery, Clocks, Furniture and Objet D'art collected during the lifetimes of Elizabeth Love and her brother Joe. A team of volunteers run guided tours lasting around an hour on most weekends so email us or visit our website to book your place. Please note that due to the museum being over three floors and with some steep winding stairs visitors with reduced mobility may have some difficulties but we are working on this.
