The Foster Museum shares the watercolor wilderness Journeys of artist and environmentalist Tony Foster in a contemplative and engaging space, an "oasis in a hectic world." Currently showing three complete Journeys ("Exploring Beauty: Watercolour Diaries from the Wild," "Sacred Places: Watercolour Diaries from the American Southwest," "Travels without a Donkey in the Cévennes,") and a "Protecting Place" exhibition, there is lots to see and experience in this 14,000 sq. ft. museum. Enjoy free Scavenger Hunts, Art Tables, Audio Visual tours, and free admission. The Foster Museum's mission is to unite, understand, and share Tony Foster's watercolor wilderness Journeys, inspiring connection to art, nature, and the protection of place. The museum in Palo Alto also serves as a venue available for use by community groups and private third party events.
