The William Luelleman House, also known as the Gerhard Hehemann House, is a historic house located in the heart of downtown New Bremen, Ohio. This historic structure, built in 1837, is the oldest in the village and is a prime example of German architecture on the American frontier. Its facade is characterized by the symmetry of its windows and doors, glass transom windows above the doors, and a stoop instead of a porch at the entrance.
Today, the Luelleman House serves as a museum, operated by the New Bremen Historic Association. The association has owned the house since shortly after its establishment in 1973. The museum showcases the rich history and architectural significance of the house, making it a point of interest for those interested in history and architecture.
