The Norwegian Children's Museum underwent significant changes over the years. On January 1, 2007, it became part of the Stavanger Museum. A few years later, on July 1, 2010, the Stavanger Museum merged with the Rogaland Art Museum. Today, the children's museum is part of MUST - Museum Stavanger AS.
