Tsutenkaku and its collection

Tsลซtenkaku, translating to 'Tower Reaching Heaven', is a significant landmark in Osaka, Japan. It is situated in the Shinsekai district of Naniwa-ku, Osaka. The tower is owned and managed by Tsลซtenkaku Kanko Co., Ltd. This iconic structure is a symbol of the city and offers a unique perspective of the surrounding area.

Height and Observation Deck of Tsลซtenkaku

Tsลซtenkaku stands tall at a total height of 108 metres. The main observation deck, which is a major attraction for visitors, is located at a height of 91 metres. From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the city.

The Enshrined Billiken at Tsลซtenkaku

The fifth floor of Tsลซtenkaku houses an enshrined statue of Billiken, often referred to as the God of Happiness or 'things as they ought to be'. This statue has become a popular symbol of good luck. Every year, thousands of visitors place a coin in Billiken's donation box and rub the soles of his feet in the hope of having their wishes fulfilled.
