After being decommissioned in 2003, the Bramble found a new life as a museum ship in Port Huron, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 1, 2012, further cementing its place in history. Visitors can explore the ship and learn about its rich past and the role it played in the United States Coast Guard.
In 2018, the Bramble was sold to a private owner, who is preparing the vessel to repeat its historic 1957 tour of North America. This adds an exciting chapter to the ship's history and provides a unique opportunity for visitors to witness a piece of maritime history in action.
