The Verkehrsmuseum Frankfurt am Main (Traffic Museum Frankfurt am Main) is a transport museum dedicated to the history of urban transport in Frankfurt am Main and the Rhine-Main area in Frankfurt's Schwanheim district. The museum is also a company museum of the Stadtwerke Frankfurt am Main and Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt (VGF). It has exhibitions on rail vehicles, the oldest electric tram, early low-floor sidecars and the first real light rail tram. Furthermore, the museum exhibits various exhibits related to the operation of the vehicles and in the area between the two museum halls signal systems and different sample tracks are exhibited.
