Karl Heinrich Waggerl, the namesake of the Waggerl Museum, was an Austrian writer born in Bad Gastein on December 10, 1897. He passed away in Wagrain on November 4, 1973. His life and works are a significant part of the museum's exhibits.
Karl Heinrich Waggerl's writing career began in 1930 with the publication of his novel 'Brot'. This was followed by 'Schweres Blut' in 1931 and 'Das Jahr des Herrn' in 1933. These works are prominently featured in the Waggerl Museum.
