The Waldschule Alpl, located in the market town of Krieglach in the district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag in Styria, is a former forest school that has been transformed into a museum. The building itself is under monument protection, adding to its historical significance.
The Waldschule Alpl was built in 1902 by local poet and writer Peter Rosegger as a measure to slow down the rural exodus. However, due to a lack of students, the school was closed in 1975. It was then completely renovated and converted into a museum by Bertl Petrei in 1982.
