The Wild and Adventure Park Ferleiten is situated at the base of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, in the Austrian state of Salzburg. This park is part of the municipality of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße, which is located in the Pinzgau region. This location offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Austrian Alps while enjoying the park's attractions.
The Adventure Park spans an area of 20 hectares and provides more than 40 adventure play opportunities. This makes it a great place for families and individuals who enjoy outdoor activities. The Wildlife Park, on the other hand, covers 15 hectares and is home to over 200 animals from approximately 40 species. This offers visitors a chance to see a variety of animals in their natural habitat.
In 2010, the concept of the National Park to construct a House of Fish in the wildlife park was brought to life. The exhibition titled "Life under Water" was inaugurated in August 2011 by regional councilor Tina Widmann, after a year of construction. The exhibition focuses on the aquatic life in both flowing and still waters of the high mountains, providing visitors with an insight into this unique ecosystem.
