The Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
1 November - 29 February: 10:00 - 16:15
1 March - 31 October: 10:00 - 17:15
As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice.
Thursday, 12 June 2025 - Castle closing early at 16:00. Last admission will be at 14:00
Sunday, 15 and Monday, 16 June 2025 - Castle closed.
Monday, 7 July 2025 - The State Apartments of the Castle will be closed. A reduced admission price applies.
