Establishment of the Park

World Heritage Recognition

Three units of the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, namely the Huffman Prairie Flying Field, Wright Hall and the 1905 Wright Flyer, and the Wright Cycle Company and Wright and Wright Printing building, were listed on the 2008 U.S. World Heritage Tentative List. These listings were part of the Dayton Aviation Sites, further emphasizing the historical significance of the park.
