Zeiss Planetarium

The Zeiss Planetarium Bochum is a planetarium in Bochum in Germany. It was opened in 1964 and since then belongs to the most modern facilities of its kind worldwide. Under the dome with a diameter of 20 meters is space for around 260 people. A central projector shows the starry sky under the dome roof, creating a realistic impression of the sky. There is a circular corridor around the projection hall that houses permanent and temporary exhibitions.

Always open to the events, usually every Monday.

Cashier opens on Mondays - Fridays from 9:00 to 15:30.


Single ticket show
Normal rate: 9.50 euro
Reduced: 6.50 euro

Child in a family network: 3.00 euro

Group over 12 persons: 8.50 euro per visitor

Reduced: Children, pupils, students (up to the age of 29), apprentices, handicapped persons (from 80 GdB or 50 GdB + marks), unemployed, holders of a discount card, holders of the honorary card, volunteer conscripts and federal volunteers.
