Naturama, previously known as the Zoological Museum, is a natural history museum located in Svendborg. The museum first opened its doors to the public on June 2, 1935, and has since been a hub for nature enthusiasts and curious minds alike.
Naturama boasts a vast collection of stuffed animals from various habitats - water, land, and air. The exhibits primarily feature species from the Nordic and Arctic regions, including whales, polar bears, foxes, and owls. This diverse collection provides a unique opportunity to learn about and appreciate the rich biodiversity of these regions.
In addition to its permanent exhibits, Naturama regularly hosts special natural history exhibitions. Past exhibitions have included a focus on dinosaurs in 2019 and invasive animal species in 2020. These special exhibitions offer visitors the chance to delve deeper into specific areas of natural history.

Low season: Every day from 09:00 to 16:00. Every Thursday at 09:00-19:00.
High season: Open 09:00-17:00. Every Thursday at 09.00-19.00. High season is during all school holidays, throughout the month of August and on public holidays.
Christmas Eve, 1st Christmas Day and New Year's Eve are closed.
