ZOOPARK, previously known as Næstved Zoo in 2007 and Næstved Børnezoo in 2009, is a zoological garden located in Næstved. The park first opened its doors to the public during Easter in 2011. It offers a unique experience for visitors to interact with a variety of animals in a natural setting.
One of the main attractions of ZOOPARK is the rare white Bengal tiger, along with the endangered orange Bengal tiger. These magnificent creatures are a sight to behold and provide an unforgettable experience for visitors.
In addition to the Bengal tigers, ZOOPARK is home to a variety of other animals. Visitors can see alpacas, nandus, camels, snakes, kangaroos, European lynx, birds, small monkeys, reptiles, and various types of domestic animals. This diversity of species makes for an enriching and educational visit.
ZOOPARK operates on a seasonal basis, opening its doors from Easter until the autumn break, which typically falls between mid-April and mid-October. Visitors planning a trip to the park should take note of these operating hours.
