Gamlehaugen is a castle located in Norway, approximately seven kilometers south of Bergen in the district of Fjøsanger. It serves as the official residence of the Norwegian royal family during their stays in Bergen. The castle is situated on a hill at the northern end of Nordåsvannet, a branch of the Grimstadfjorden.

Most of these species were gathered as seeds from wild plants in Norway and around the world, but the garden also features cultivated forms of particularly beautiful or economically important plants.
