Applied art museums in Namur

Musée de Groesbeeck-De Croix is housed in a stately building from the 18th century. The building exudes the atmosphere of an aristocratic residence from the Age of Enlightenment. On display are artistic works by cabinetmakers, goldsmiths, watchmakers and glassblowers of old Namur, among others.

Musée du Trésor du Prieuré d'Oignies is a treasury housed in a modern convent guarded by the Sisters of Our Lady. Among its exhibits are Gothic religious chalices, crosses and reliquaries, many of which were made by Friar Hugo d'Oignies.
