Science & technology museums in Oberhausen

St.-Antony-Hütte, located in the Oberhausen district of Klosterhardt, is a former ironworks that holds historical significance as the first ironworks in the Ruhr area. It was established in 1758 by Franz von der Wenge, a canon of Münster. This historical site provides a glimpse into the early industrial history of the region.
