Profession & craft museums in Vorarlberg

Since 1997, the Mittelweiherburg has been home to a textile printing museum. The museum focuses on form cutting, textile hand printing, and the social history of industrialization up to the 1930s. It provides an in-depth look into the textile industry's evolution and its impact on society.

The Vorarlberger Museumswelt, located in Frastanz, Vorarlberg, was established in 2003. It is a unique amalgamation of several museums, all housed within a single space. This space, approximately 2,500 m² in size, was once the operating building of the Ganahl textile works.
