The City of Prague Museum is a museum in Prague that is primarily dedicated to the history of the city. The Museum of the City of Prague has an archaeological and a historical collection. It shows permanent exhibitions on the history of Prague in primeval times, the Middle Ages, the transition from the Middle Ages to the modern era and the Baroque. The highlight of the exhibition is a fascinating scale paper model of Prague created around 1830 by Antonín Langweil. The building itself is interesting as well with its Neo-Renaissance architecture.
