Kelmscott Manor was the inspirational country home of William Morris; poet, designer, craftsman, socialist and founding father of the Arts and Crafts movement. This Grade I listed house was loved by Morris as a survival of traditional craftsmanship in harmony with the surrounding landscape, inspiring many of his most important designs and writings. We are currently undergoing extensive restoration, conservation and improvement works which will continue throughout 2020. We hope to have a limited open season in the Summer. Please see our website for more information.
