Exhibition 'Chenango County’s "Better Half" — The Life and Works of Randy Glasbergen' in Chenango County Historical Society
This artist showcase celebrates the legacy of the renowned Sherburne-based cartoonist, including highlights from his internationally syndicated comic strip and his collection of pop culture ephemera.
In addition to lifestyle pieces reflecting the artist’s personality, the exhibit features a wide variety of original production artwork, chronicling the remarkable life of an individual whose humor and wit became a staple in publications around the world. At the height of his career, Glasbergen’s cartoons and comic illustrations were licensed for use by America Online, American Greetings, China Daily, Dow Jones, Funny Times, Good Housekeeping, Hallmark Cards, the Harvard Business Review, Microsoft, Reader’s Digest, Standard & Poor’s, The Wall Street Journal, and Time Warner Cable.
