The Mercedes-Benz Museum is an automobile museum in Stuttgart that is dedicated to the brand and its history, including all brands associated to Mercedes-Benz. The museum is housed in a building designed by UN Studio that is located right outside the main gate of the Daimler factory. The chronologically oriented 'myth' spaces tell the story of Mercedes-Benz and divide it into themes: The Invention of the Automobile, 1886 to 1900; The birth of the brand, 1900 to 1914; Diesel and Compressor, 1914 to 1945; Form and Diversity, 1945 to 1960; Safety and Environment, 1960 to 1982; Road to emission-free mobility, 1982 to today; and Races and Records.
