The Asian American Arts Centre (AAAC) is a non-profit organization situated in the Chinatown neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. Established in 1974, it is one of the earliest Asian American community organizations in the United States. The Centre is dedicated to presenting the ongoing developments between contemporary Asian and Asian American art forms and Western art forms through various exhibitions, performances, and public education.
AAAC's Permanent Collection
Since 1989, the AAAC has accumulated a permanent collection that contains hundreds of contemporary Asian American artworks and traditional folk art pieces. The Artists Archive at AAAC
