The Aviation Museum Clément-Ader, situated at the Corbas aerodrome south of Lyon, offers visitors a glimpse into the national aeronautical heritage. The museum's collection includes a variety of aircraft, engines, and equipment, providing a comprehensive overview of the evolution and advancements in aviation.
The Espaces Aéro Lyon-Corbas (EALC) association initiated the Aviation Museum Clément-Ader, which was officially opened in April 2013. Since 2003, these dedicated volunteers have been restoring aircraft, engines, and equipment to display them to the public.
Since December 2012, the Aviation Museum Clément-Ader has been open to the public. The museum exhibits around thirty aircraft, including planes, helicopters, gliders, paragliders, and drones. In addition to this, visitors can also see various types of engines, equipment such as ejector seats and navigation tools, outfits, and a collection of models and dioramas.
