The Centre international d'art et du paysage de Vassivière, located on the island of Vassivière in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France, is a contemporary art center. The island, which is situated in the western part of the artificial lake of Vassivière, is accessible via a pedestrian bridge from the southern shore of the lake, near Beaumont-du-Lac. The island is a unique blend of nature and sculpture, with its landscape shaped by human hands.

The Bois de sculptures at the Centre international d'art et du paysage de Vassivière
In addition to its exhibitions, the Centre international d'art et du paysage de Vassivière also hosts a park of contemporary sculptures on the island. Known as the Bois de sculptures, the park is composed of about sixty works, reflecting the major movements of contemporary sculpture. The sculptures are situated amongst the forest, meadows, and lakeside, creating a unique and immersive art experience.
