The Civil War Museum-Refuge is an interpretation center about the Spanish civil war, located in the city of Cartagena, Murcia. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the historical events that took place during the Spanish civil war.
The museum is uniquely situated in a tunnel built on the slope of the Concepción mountain. This tunnel was one of the many air-raid shelters constructed in the city during the civil war, as a response to the bombings from the rebel side. This unique location adds to the authenticity of the museum experience.
