Cap Sciences is a Centre for scientific, technical and industrial culture (CCSTI) located in Bordeaux, on the banks of the Garonne, at the foot of the Jacques-Chaban-Delmas Bridge. It is a center for animation and exhibition open to the public for the discovery and understanding of scientific phenomena, technological principles, applications and industrial know-how.
Cap Sciences is open to the general public, school groups, leisure structures, students, tourists, seniors, and also young children through youth workshops. For the age group 3 - 6 years, exploration and the playful aspect are at the heart of the activities, in order to awaken their spirit of discovery and satisfy their natural curiosity.
Cap Sciences participates each year in the Science Festival (previously known as Science Week). During this event, science and technology are presented to the public in the form of animations, site visits, conferences and meetings. Cap Sciences coordinates all actions in Aquitaine for the Science Festival.
