A museum of nature and technology, of art and science, of birds, of flowers, fossils, machines and of old and new things. For people who wonder, about stars, planets, about the blue sky and the clouds in it. For people who want to know where we come from and where we are going. For people who understand that's too high but who keep looking anyway.

De Museumfabriek has 1 rating.
De Museumfabriek in Enschede offers visitors an engaging experience that combines local history, technology, and interactive exhibits. The museum, housed in a former textile factory, provides insight into Enschede's industrial past and its evolution. Exhibits cover a range of topics from natural history to the textile industry that once dominated the region.
Visitors appreciate the museum's diverse collection and its efforts to make history accessible to all ages. The interactive displays and hands-on activities are particularly popular, especially among families and school groups. Many reviewers commend the museum for its educational value and the way it connects the past with the present.
The museum's layout and presentation of artifacts receive positive feedback, with many finding the exhibits well-organized and informative. The staff is generally described as friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience.
However, some visitors mention that certain areas of the museum could benefit from updates or more extensive information in English. A few reviewers also note that the museum might be more appealing to those with a specific interest in local history or industrial heritage.
Despite these minor critiques, De Museumfabriek is generally well-regarded for its contribution to preserving and presenting Enschede's rich history. It offers a solid museum experience that caters to a wide audience, from curious tourists to history enthusiasts.
